LusTRE is characterised by a knowledge infrastructure containing a set of multilingual vocabularies covering different Data Theme of INSPIRE. Vocabularies are exposed in Linked Data (LD), a method of web publication in which each individual piece of data is (i) uniquely identified using HTTP URIs (that is, URLs, or "web addresses"), (ii) available both as "machine readable" data and as "human readable" pages, and linked to other resources. Code Lists
DMEER Biogeographical Region The Digital Map of European Ecological Regions describes distinct ecological areas in Europe based on climate, topography and geobotanic data. It is available in English.
IUCN Protected Sites It provides a classification of Protected Sites according with the schema of the International Union for the Conservation of Nature obtained from EU Member States and from the Emerald Network counties providing a European wide map of biogeographically regions independent from political boundaries. It is available in English.
AQ Air Quality The Air Quality code lists are part of the EEA - EIONET DATA DICTIONARY used to support the delivery of environmental data by countries to Reportnet, the Eionet’s infrastructure for supporting and improving data and information flows. They are available in English.
INSPIRE themes register The INSPIRE Theme Register contains all spatial data themes, as defined in the Annexes of the INSPIRE Directive ( Directive 2007/2/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 14 March 2007 establishing an Infrastructure for Spatial Information in the European Community). The descriptions of the themes are based on version 3.0 of the "Definition of Annex Themes and Scope (D 2.3)" by the data specifications drafting team and subsequent updates by the INSPIRE Thematic Working Groups (TWGs). They are translated in the same languages provided by GEMET.
INSPIRE IFCD register IFCD acts as a common feature concept dictionary for all INSPIRE data specifications. The common feature concept dictionary contains terms and definitions required for specifying thematic spatial object types and it is main role is in particular to support the harmonisation effort and to identify conflicts between the specifications of the spatial object types in the different themes. They are available in English.

GEMET The GEneral Multilingual Environmental Thesaurus. A thesaurus in 20+ languages for terms related to the environment and environmental data published by the European Environment Agency. A dump of GEMET is available in LusTRE sparql end point.
AGROVOC The AGROVOC thesaurus contains more than 32 000 concepts in 25 languages covering topics related to food, nutrition, agriculture, fisheries, forestry, environment and other related domains. A dump of AGROVOC is available in LusTRE sparql end point.
EuroVoc EuroVoc is a multilingual, multidisciplinary thesaurus covering the activities of the EU, the European Parliament in particular. It contains terms in 23 EU languages.

DBpedia DBpedia is a crowd-sourced community effort to extract structured information from Wikipedia and make this information available on the Web. DBpedia allows you to ask sophisticated queries against Wikipedia, and to link the different data sets on the Web to Wikipedia data.
UMTHES A German-centric thesaurus about environmental protection, maintained by the Federal Environment Agency, Germany. It is available in German and in English.
IUGS-CGI Controlled Vocabulary Code lists CGI geoscience vocabularies for the description of geological features. Considering in particular the Geologic Timescale Elements in the International Chronostratigraphic Chart , which is available in 21 Languages.

Thesauri
EARTh has been developed and is currently maintained by the CNR-IIA-EKOLab . The ownership of such material remains with the CNR-IIA-EKOLab, however, the use of EARTh is regulated according to Creative Commons by-nc-nd. Interlinking between the other vocabularies and EARTh has been worked out by CNR-IMATI-GE.
ThIST is the result of a nearly total revision of the thesaurus born by the integration among the terminological database of the former Library of the Italy Geological Service (today APAT Library) and the thesaurus published by the CNR in 1997. Interlinking between the other vocabularies and EARTh has been worked out by CNR-IMATI-GE.

EUNIS - Habitat
are extracted by EUNIS Database , developed and managed by the European Topic Centre on Biological Diversity (ETC/BD in Paris) for the European Environment Agency (EEA) and the European Environmental Information Observation Network (Eionet). Ownership of such material always remains with the EEA. The EUNIS dataset is available according to the OKD OKD Compliant::Creative Commons Attribution. Interlinking between Species and Habitat has been worked out by CNR-IMATI-GE.
GEMET is provided by European Environment Agency (EEA) under the Creative Commons cc-by . It has been uploaded in the SPARQL end point of LusTRE. Information reachable through links between EARTh and GEMET are obtained directly querying the SPARQL end point without deploy end points federation.
AGROVOC is provided by AIMS-FAO under the Creative Commons cc-by It has been uploaded in the SPARQL end point of LusTRE. Information reachable through links between EARTh and AGROVOC are obtained directly querying the SPARQL end point without deploy end points federation.
